    Test Usage
 
This test detects antibodies from four classes associated with paraneoplastic syndromes.  It may be useful for purposes including the diagnosis of  paraneoplastic syndromes in appropriate patients, the monitoring of response to cancer therapy in patients seropositive at the start of therapy and in detecting early cancer recurrence in historically seropositive patients.
